Kang Kong, (Ipomoea aquatica) is a delicious and mild tasting plant common to South East Asia. Also known as water spinach, ong choy, swamp cabbage, phak bung, hung tsai or rau muong, its common to the cuisines of South East and East Asia and is commonly found in many Asian groceries as a very cost effective vegetable.
Stir-fry garlic with chilli pepper and fermented soy blocks. Add the kang kong and 1 spoon of Chan's yellow label soy sauce and ketjap manis.
